I don't know, this picture didn't come out the way I wanted it to. I'm happy with some parts, disappointed with other aspects.
Tried a different style, what do you guys think? I'm sad that the irises didn't come out cleanly. I really wanted this picture to be a lot "cleaner" but I don't know...it still look rather mesy and cluttered. I still have to work on that. Fanart for RomeoxJuliet, the new anime by GONZO. Plotline definitely deviates from the original Romeo and Juliet play. But it's a nice anime and I love the backgrounds, not so crazy about how they draw the people. Romeo is a very bland character, XD. The anime's fixation on white irises is intriguing. The music is also nice, if you're a hardcore "Romeo and Juliet" fanatic you'll either love it or hate it. They do change a lot of things. ;x |

This is absolutely beautiful! I don't understand why you don't lik eit. Sometimes messy gives a mood to a piece that clean cut, sharp, cold lines can't accomplish or convey!!
And I love the bit about the white flowers, destined to wilt... isn't that from Romeo and Juliet?

Well, I want to draw at least one somewhat complete picture where the lines are clean, it's like one of my goals. XD
I don't think the wilting flowers if from Romeo Juliet, but in the anime the white irises kind of "connect" Romeo and Juliet and I think it's a symbol of their love.
But we all know that Romeo and Juliet are going to die, it's a "tragic love story" so I used the wilting line as a sappy way of saying "THEY'RE GONNA DIE ;["
I'm not sure if they'll kill Romeo and Juliet off in the anime. o_o
